Last week in my sociology class we had to write about a subculture that you belong in. The subculture that I personally associate myself with if the gamer subculture. As a gamer I play video games with people to have fun and make experiences. People may look at gaming as a weird hobby, because unlike a hobby like say writing for painting you don't gain anything physical from it. Where the gaming community gets its praise is that everyone in it is there to get an escape from the unfortunate harsh reality we live in. I find myself not doing this all the time, but every now and then I'll go online and play with some of my friends and enjoy myself. I wanted to share this as a way to get to know me more, and understand what I'm into. I look forward to know more about you all as well.
